By adding the desired lenses to your favorite frames, our opticians can help create the perfect pair of glasses for your lifestyle and vision needs.

Anti Reflective

Wearers of prescription glasses and sunglasses commonly encounter annoying glare and reflections caused by light bouncing off their lenses. This glare makes it more difficult to see, especially at night. Anti-reflective lenses reduce these reflections allowing more light to pass through to your eyes.

Anti-reflective lenses also improve the aesthetic appearance of your glasses by diminishing the glare that blocks your eyes when others look at you. Many no-glare lenses also come with a scratch-resistant protection that makes them more durable and easier to clean.

Presbyopia is an age-related disease that requires bifocals to correct near vision. Progressive lenses are different from traditional bifocals because the visible line in the middle of the lens is smoothed out to create a seamless transition between seeing near and long-distance. This makes things like switching from reading a book to viewing the television much easier.

Digital Protective

According to the American Optometric Association (AOA), the average American worker spends seven hours per day in front of a screen. Symptoms of computer vision syndrome include blurry vision, sore and tired eyes, headaches and neck and shoulder pain. Blue light from the sun, fluorescent and LED lighting and digital devices can negatively affect our sleep and can even cause cataracts and other eye diseases down the road.
In today’s age of high dependence on technology, it is imperative to use proper precautions against digital eye strain. Special lenses are available to supplement your pair of glasses. The protective lenses work by alleviating eye strain by enhancing vision at near and medium distances. In addition to these lenses, the AOA recommends following the 20-20-20 rule: After every 20 minutes of viewing a digital device, take a 20-second break and view an object 20 feet away from you.

High Definition

If you want exceptional clarity, brighter and more precise vision when wearing your eyeglasses, ask about our high definition lenses. Available for people who are nearsighted, farsighted, and astigmatic, these lenses make your vision crystal clear, like you’re looking through a highly pixelated camera.

No Scratch

No lens is completely “scratch-proof,” but there is a scratch-resistant treatment that can help protect your eyewear. This two-sided treatment goes on the front and backside of your lenses and protects against scratches.

Sunlight is known to have many health benefits, but too much exposure can be detrimental to the skin and eyes. Sunglasses can not only be unique and fashion-forward, but they can also serve an important function in protecting the eyes against the harmful effects of the sun. With the wide variety of lens options available, you can customize your sunglasses to meet your visual, protection, performance and comfort needs. Sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which is present even on cloudy days. Quality sunwear provides 100% UV protection and can significantly reduce the risk of vision problems caused by sunlight such as cataracts and retinal damage.

Glare, an issue that makes it difficult to see objects clearly by washing out colors and details, can be combated by polarized lenses. Looking at a scene with polarized lenses, you will notice the colors are deeper, richer and bolder, and details are clearer and more distinct. Polarized lenses also help reduce squinting, which, in turn, reduces eye fatigue, tension and eyestrain.
